Sampath Ram

Sampath Ram began his career on the Doordarshan series Ethanai Manithargal and made his film debut as a sub-inspector in Mudhalvan (1999). He went on to play a long run of thug roles, surviving a head injury while shooting Dheena (2001).

Nearly twenty years later, he landed a meaty role in Thimiru Pudichavan (2018) and won acclaim as an aghori in Kanchana 3. He plays the main antagonist in Thatrom Thookrom, and his 200th film, Kasa Kasaa, features him in the lead.
